Balkan Specialties – Financial police treated violations in bakeries

Date:

During a targeted campaign by the Financial Police at the Fraud Control office, various bakeries with Balkan specialties were investigated in more detail in Upper Austria at the beginning of February. A total of ten companies were checked, in which 34 people, including 31 foreign and three Austrian employees, were checked.

The results of the checks revealed various discrepancies: four violations according to the activity of foreign activities, three according to the General Social Insurance Act, two offenses in accordance with the trade regulations and four violations under the Work Act Act. The financial police officers were supported by the police for a measure in the foreign right-wing handcuffs clicked for a 26-year-old Kosovar. In addition, two violations were found in connection with registration gas and the correct income.

Relevant reservations
For the use of the four third countries, the respective employers threaten punishments from 2000 euros to 20,000 euros. Since all affected companies already have relevant reservations for illegal foreign activities, applications for the inclusion of commercial approval have also been made.

12,866 euros outstanding taxes
A total of 12,866 euros in outstanding taxes were paid in cash via the campaign. “The tax laws apply to everyone and must be reached by everyone. If you do not adhere to it, you risk a juicy extra payment or withdrawal of commercial approval. We ensure more taxability with targeted checks and consistent penalties,” says Finance Minister Marterbauer.
