An explosion in Vienna-Hernals caused a large-scale operation by the Fire Brigade on Saturday afternoon. A camping gascartridge was so seriously exploded in an apartment, so that the wall to the adjacent apartment was badly damaged.
Dramatic use in the Thelemangasse: an explosion in an apartment had activated the alarm. During the exploration it turned out that a gas pattern in the kitchen had exploded for a previously unknown cause.

The owner of the apartment was able to manage from the apartment with his two children. There was no fire, but the explosion had brought a distribution into the neighboring apartment.
Fortunately the neighbor was able to leave the apartment independently with her two children, so that no one was buried. As a precaution, the fire brigade closed the gas supply of both affected apartments and checked the adjacent floors. No further damage or injuries were found.
