The employees have supported the committee’s proposal to convene strikes on 30 April and 1, 5 and 6 May, coincide with the following meetings with the directorate.
The employees of the Bridgestone factory in Basauri have stopped production of the Biscay factory with a “total monitoring” in which it is their fifth day of strike in protest for the honor. Moreover, the staff in a general meeting has decided to continue with the mobilizations with four new strikes, as reported by trade union sources.
This new strike, which will be followed this Saturday, takes place after this Thursday meeting of the negotiating table.
During the meeting, in which the external collection plan was presented, no agreement was reached and the trade unions returned to claim an industrial plan and show their rejection of the honor.
That is why the committee has raised employees to continue with the mobilizations with four strikes and, in a meeting of employees in Basauri, they have supported the committee’s proposal to be coincidental with the following meetings with the directorate on 30 April and 1, 5 and 6 May.
Moreover, it has also been agreed that a representation of the committee will travel to the European Parliament on 29 April, on 1 May she will give a demonstration to participate in the mobilization of Bilbao for the day of the employee, and on 5 May they will go to Madrid to the Japanese embassy.
