A balcony in the Carinthian Villach was full of fire on Sunday evening. The members of the main fire station fought against the flames and could also save two cats.
The balcony of a house with several parties on the third floor has risen in flames. Under heavy respiratory protection, they fought through the smoky stairs to the apartment. “Two cats that were injured by the poisonous flue gases could be found. Fortunately the tenant of the apartment was not at home,” the members describe.
All animals have saved
The animals were brought out and mainly provided with medical oxygen with special masks for animals. The fire on the balcony was then also fought from the apartment with the help of a fire brigade.
The cause of the fire is still completely unclear. Now it is determined. The FF Perau and the most important fire station Villach were in use.
