The Mega -Black -out in Spain has demanded at least three lives. In a small town in the northwest of Spain, two seniors and their son died of carbon monoxide poisoning. On Monday there was a huge power outages on the Iberian peninsula.
The victims are a few at the age of 81 and 77 and their 56-year-old son from the Spanish small town of Tabadela, as reported by the regional newspaper “La Voz de Galicia” and the Europe Press News Agency, with reference to the police.
The oldest member of the budget needed a ventilation device. When the electricity failed, a petrol -driven emergency generator was thrown, the exhaust gases were apparently unnoticed in the house.
Electricity again almost everywhere
On Tuesday – about 24 hours after the Black –out – almost all people in Spain and Portugal had electricity again. The Black -out paralyzed the Iberian peninsula almost a whole day, cut millions from the outside world and caused chaos.
Cause still unclear
What exactly the collapse has activated is still the subject of investigations. Red Eléctrica blamed the abrupt interruption of the power connection with France for the collapse.
