The indicator has fallen to minima since August 2022. This reduction includes an average saving of 1600 euros per year for people with variable mortgage, because the Euribor April closed with a rate of 3.7 %.
The Euribor registered in April the largest year in more than 15 years in April until it is 2,143 %, in the absence of confirmation by the Bank of Spain.
The indicator has fallen minimally since August 2022, when the European Central Bank (ECB) decided to change the course of its monetary policy and start typing to increase the inflatory crisis in the eurozone.
The Euribor A year, the most used indicator in the Spanish state to calculate the rates of mortgages against variable interest, resumed the falling path in April, after registering uploads in January, decreased in February and suffers a stagnation in March.
With regard to March, the Euribor has fallen in 0.25 basic points, while before April 2024 it was cut into 1.56 basic points, the largest year -year of decline since August 2009.
In this way, in the case of a mortgage credit at a variable interest of 150,000 euros, a period of 30 years and an interest of 0.99 % in the Euribor, the reimbursement is reduced by around 133 euros per month or in 1600 euros per year.
