On Friday afternoon there was a tragic accident at work in Vienna-Wieden. A 23-year-old man fell from a second-floor window and died.
At about 4:30 p.m., the clerk was cleaning a window in a building. Falling several feet from the second floor, he fell into a shaft in the courtyard.
Died despite CPR
When rescuers arrived, they tried to resuscitate the 23-year-old, but without success. He died on the spot. It is still unclear why the 23-year-old fell. He was later rescued by the professional fire brigade. The investigations are still ongoing.
