Next breakdown in the endless procedure for ex-financing minister Karl-Heinz Grasser: as the “Krone” learned, the registered judgments received a date on which the process was not yet completed. De Tophof announced the debt and penalties on March 25, but the judgments were dated 20 March. The parties were apparently informed of the OGH on Monday.
Now also that: On Monday a controversial document arrived on the parties in the Bubil process. “The copies that have already been sent – which do not match the order number and the decision date – are therefore not relevant,” writes the highest court in it.
And indeed: to read on page 212 for the last week “on behalf of the Republic”: “Supreme Court. Vienna, on March 20, 2025”. It is therefore dated by the day on which the Four-Days Vocational Negotiation against former politician Karl-Heinz Grasser, Walter Meischberger and Co. just started. The judgments were announced – Grasser was legally sentenced to four years in prison for unfaithfulness and acceptance of gifts – but only five days later, on March 25.
This is also the date on which the judgments that are now newly designed on Monday and signed by the presidency court.
Should it be asked to start in prison?
The question is what the breakdown means for the requested requested request for the arrival of the convicted person by a judge at the Vienna Court of Criminal Court.
