Two girls left a trail of destruction in a church in Innsbruck on Friday afternoon. The two teens smashed candle jars, ripped apart sofas and threw a statue to the ground. Police are now looking for witnesses.
Between 2.45 pm and 3.30 pm, the two young people went to work in the church on Spingeser Strasse in Innsbruck. They have wreaked real havoc. They destroyed books of praise to God, candles and candle glasses in treasuries, as well as flower pots and sofas and upholstery.

“A statue has been thrown from a pedestal. The extent of the material damage has not yet been determined,” said the police. She is now looking for two girls between the ages of twelve and 15. One of the two had long blond hair and was wearing a light-colored t-shirt.
