Dramatic scenes took place on Wednesday at 1.45 p.m. In the Sad Straße and Erlaaer Straße in Vienna-Liesing: a 70-year-old woman was pulled under a tragic accident and seriously injured.
As Andreas Huber, spokesperson for the career rescue, announced, the cyclist had come under the right front wheel of the tonal truck for an unknown cause. The woman was trapped with a bicycle under the axis.
The fire brigade started with a large contingent – five vehicles and 20 emergency services and immediately started with the dramatic rescue operation. The truck was raised with hydraulic lifts and special air cushions to free the seriously injured woman. The helpers fought their way to centimeters.
