From the victim to the pursuer: a 26-year-old started on Wednesday for the alleged perpetrators after the theft of his motorcycle. The man followed a panel bus in which he suspected his stolen bike. The persecution should even lead the 26-year-old outside the national border!
The man had noticed the theft of the bicycle on time and attached himself to the heels of the alleged thief. He chased a suspicious panel van to him – assuming it was his stolen motorcycle. The 26-year-old had the right nose, but that should only be shown many kilometers and a border crossing later. The journey led to the Czech Republic.
Police colleagues alerted from the Czech Republic
Shortly before the 26-year-old passed the border, the police carefully informed the police. According to the police, a “cross -border cooperation with the Czech authorities” was initiated. “The police in Vyskov eventually stopped the panel described with stolen license plates in the city of Ivanovice after Hané,” reports police spokesperson Markus Dittrich.
However, when searching for the vehicle, not only the stolen motorcycle of the 26-year-old must come to light, but also three more. They all received coups in the Floridsdorf and Donaustadt districts. The thefts were also dedicated to one and the same night. “The perpetrators are apparently organized,” said Dittrich.
Delivery to Austria follows
For the steering wheel of the small truck, a 33-year-old Poles, the handcuffs clicked on the spot. The suspect is currently in detention in the Czech Republic. The delivery was in preparation, said and should take place in the coming days. Further investigations, such as on Mids, are underway.
