At least ten actions of the musical “Les Misérables” have decided not to participate in a performance in which US President Donald Trump is expected. The implementation on 11 June coincides with a donation event that Trump organizes in favor of the Kennedy Center.
Since the politician took over the chairman of the theater board in February, he has redesigned it according to his ideas. The former president of the Kennedy Center, Deborah Rutter, was replaced by the Trump allied Richard Grenell. The latter said that his team had not yet heard the rumor of the Geboycot appearance. The center will no longer promote intolerance. Artists who are not professional enough to appear to the public of all origin and political preferences are not welcome.
