Brand alarm on Friday evening in the Hötting district in Innsbruck: an uninhabited house opened in a forest in a forest. Dozens of emergency services then fought against the fire. Nobody was injured. The cause of the fire is still full – a technical defect can be excluded for the time being.
Around 8:30 pm the Hötting Volunteer Fire Brigade was warned on the fire in the forest near Höhenstraße with the help of Pager and Siren. “When it arrived, the house was already in full fire. Immediately our team – together with the Innsbruck Professional Fire Brigade, which was also approached – started with serious respiratory protection with the extinguishing work,” says the emergency services.
Prevent the flames from spreading
The license of the fire or the smoke column was visible from far. Despite the difficult circumstances on the spot, the firefighters were able to control the situation quickly and prevent the flames from spreading to the directly adjacent forest forest. “Around 9.15 pm a fire could already be made,” the police reported.
