A politician significantly endangered himself and others on Friday evening: the man got behind the wheel of his Tesla drunk, lost a tire during a maneuver – and then crashed into a car driving in front of him on the North Bridge in Vienna!
The emergency services were alerted to the north bridge around 10:30 PM on Friday. A Tesla driver hit a car. There was material damage.
But that’s not all: the Telsa was already missing a tire at the time of the collision. The driver was riding alone on the rim when he collided with the car in front of him. It is still unclear how exactly he lost the belt.
Party confirms incident
An alcohol test was conducted on the Tesla driver – which apparently showed him to be significantly intoxicated. The driver is a politician from Lower Austria. It concerns a young member of the FPÖ state parliament – the party also confirmed this to the “Krone” on Saturday.
The man’s driver’s license was confiscated. Any professional consequences are not yet known. According to daily newspaper ‘Heute’, the blue driver has already apologized and said he is very sorry.
