A trip to the medieval castle in the South Moravian city of Znaim ended dramatically on Saturday: a middle -aged tourist fell several meters deep from a lead of the city reinforcement.
According to the Czech media reports, the incident took place on Saturday afternoon and made a large scale of emergency services.
Height -rescuers had to be asked
As the Southern Moravian Rescue Service announced, both a medical and an operational team for emergency medicine were sent to the scene of the accident. Due to the rough terrain, the emergency services also asked for rescuers of professional length rescuers.
The emergency services went to the fallen woman and brought her back to the wall plateau using a vacuum mattress.
Woman removed by helicopter
The woman therefore suffered moderate injuries. It was initially delivered medically on the site and then brought the ambulance to a helicopter landing site. From there, the continuous transport by helicopter was carried out to the University Clinic Brno.
Too much trust security?
The cause of autumn is currently unclear. The police started the investigation. Czech media reported that the woman may have leaned against a wooden railing.
Znaim, located near the Austrian border, is a popular tourist destination with historic city walls and points of view over the dyje valley.
