With the Hoverair X1 Promax, the Chinese manufacturer Zero Zero Robotics wants to make the introduction of the drone that flies as pleasantly and comfortably as possible. In the test, however, the device scores mainly with qualities that you don’t really do.
The new Hoverair X1 is available in a Pro and the Promax version that we have tested. The most important differences: the Promax not only controls 4K, but also 8k, HDR (10-bit HLG), has twice as large internal memory with 64 gigabytes and also trusts optical sensors in addition to approach. Apart from that, the two models are practical (see specifications below).
Zero Zero Robotics offers extensive accessories for both Pro and Promax, from which a lot has been put together on different bundles. In addition to the mere drone, for example, there is a special package for bicycles and skiers with suitable brackets, storage bags, ND filters (to enable longer exposure times for open aperture), especially cold-resistant battery and the so-called beacon with a Joystick-Meer later.
Fortunately, the manufacturer made us available for the test, the so-called Combo package, which, in addition to the drone (549 euros), contains a second battery with the corresponding loading bowl, 65-Watt power supply and a case. Costs currently: 749 euros. If you want to call all accessories in one go, you can even delete 1229 euros for the “all-in-one combo”. The question arises: is it worth it? And what do you actually get as a buyer?
