A 35-year-old stabbed a 30-year-old with a kitchen knife in an apartment in Vienna-Neubau on Sunday evening. Neighbors heard the call for help from the apartment and immediately alerted the police.
When officers arrived around 3 a.m., they also heard calls for help from the apartment. When the door was not opened despite repeated requests, WEGA officials had to force open the apartment door.
Multiple cuts
According to police, the 30-year-old with several cuts to his head and body and the 35-year-old were in the apartment. An investigation revealed that the alleged perpetrator had already been denied entry to Germany. He was immediately arrested.
Alleged perpetrator is silent
The victim was taken to hospital after first aid. The 30-year-old stated that he was attacked by the suspect with a kitchen knife during an argument and that he was injured in the process. The 35-year-old has yet to comment on the crime.
