Two fire brigades, the Red Cross with different vehicles, including two emergency doctors, an emergency helicopter and the police were deployed on Thursday evening in Vöcklabruck in Upper Austria because a fire broke out in the municipal pension house.
At 6:17 pm the alarm was activated on Thursday in Vöcklabruck. A fire broke out in a room in the senior house of the city of Vöcklabruck. All rescue employees were ordered immediately on the stage.
Prepared for the worst
Because the situation was still unclear in the beginning and many people live in a pension home and some are not mobile, they were prepared for the worst. The rescue helicopter, two emergency doctors, countless hospitals and the fire brigades of Vöcklabruck and Regau were on site.
Fire was quickly removed
Eventually the fire was quickly put out, a spread to another room could be prevented. However, the excitement and the suspicion of flue gas poisoning meant that different people had to be cared for by the Red Cross.
