Again, there were threats per e -mail against schools in the night of Monday, at least against seven institutions in Tyrol. Similar cases were also registered in other federal states, some were evacuations.
Does this series never stop? The bomb threats on Monday evening met the Tyrolean University of Applied Sciences Schwaz-Rotholz with a location in the capital of the district. “The bomb has been placed. It will explode on Monday 11 am,” the school said in an e -mail.
Nocturnal search in Schwaz
The director, the school holder and ten police officers then searched for two hours – without a suspicious find. A quick decision was needed – and it was to miss the lessons. Because there was a new search with an explosive dog for the morning. On Monday until 1 p.m. it announced an excited note, the house on Johannes-Messner-Weg was temporarily closed.
Recommendation: failure no lessons
In addition, six other similar threats for Tyrolean schools were known. The educational directorate advised the police. In general it was recommended to continue the lessons. “There is no proof of a specific hazard situation,” said police spokesman Stefan Eder on Monday to the “Krone”. Nevertheless, people want to respond to the series with more supervision.
Other federal states have also affected
In various other federal states, schools – as have been the case more often – were also confronted with bomb threats. Sometimes there were evacuations. Professional schools were also threatened in Styria, in particular nine of them. It is unclear whether a single perpetrator or different imitators are working.
