The fire investigators from Upper Carinthia have been successful. After the police frantically searched for an unknown arsonist, a 32-year-old could now be identified. He is said to have set fire to an apartment building in the center of Spittal on July 7.
Motive unclear
The Spittaler confessed to the researchers. But the man is silent about the motive. Further research should now clarify. It was initially believed that a faulty electrical distributor was the cause of the fire.
