A rare phenomenon provides a long and sometimes colorful moon ride on Wednesday evening. Because the satellite will be just as deep on the horizon if it has not been around 18 years old. The process is also called “great moon judgment” because it can be seen longer and closer to the horizon than normal.

The term “Strawberry Moon” comes from the Algonquin, a native population in North America, which – as we – harvested strawberries in June.
