On Monday, parts of the Croatian coast were chased by a serious storm – in Rovinj, wind speeds of up to 110 km/h were measured. The storm pulled a trail of destruction to the southeast. A ferry came in the need and dropped for Zadar.
A dangerous never raged on the west coast of Istria, as the Croatia expert Kristijan Antic reported in his blog. This is a difficult to predict wind that can reach hurricane strength in the shortest possible time. This weather phenomenon mainly takes place from August to September, usually after a few hot days.

Streets were flooded, trees were uprooted, campsites were destroyed and various yachts sunk. Various injuries were reported. The popular tourist city of Rovinj in particular was hit hard, as the photos in the article below illustrate:
A ferry catamaran on the Sali line – Zadar came in need shortly before 10 p.m. On photos you can see how the ship dropped to the taxpayer in the floods. How exactly the accident came about is still unknown – the captain reported on a water waste. All 38 passengers and five crew members were saved.

“Only a few moments separated between the salvation of everyone and a dozen dead. The situation was really bad. People literally left the ship barefoot, without clothing and without possessions. The waves were more than three meters high,” said the district that Josip Bilaver transfers the location compared to the news platform 24Sata.hr.
