Dramatic scenes on Wednesday morning in Vienna-Döbling: A 41-year-old man would have stolen a money cassette of a money in a drugstore in Billrothstrasse. When he fled with the prey, the alarmed police officers immediately followed the persecution. Shortly thereafter, the situation escalated.
But instead of stopping, the man suddenly pulled a Stanleyesser out of his pocket and directed it several times in the direction of the officials. To control the situation, the police gave warning shots in the ground after several warning shots – nobody was injured.
