Whether it is excursion or travel: for the extensive weekend around Corpus Christi, experts expect a very large number of traffic again. It should be particularly problematic around the tunnel construction site on the Tauern highway (A10).
“For the last time, the tunnel construction site on the A10 will be the File Hotspot in Golling, at the end of June this needle is history,” says Marc Römer, traffic expert of ÖAMTC.
Many people will already start on a short vacation on Wednesday afternoon, so a dense traffic must be expected on the results in the cities. On Friday the club awaits a new travel wave to local recreational areas on Friday. The weekend itself will be determined in the first place by traveling on the transit routes of Adriatic via Austria to Germany, because Pentecost ends in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. Short holidaymakers and day trippers stand for the entrances to the city.
