For the first time next year, a satellite will be equipped with an engine developed by the Young Company Gate Space in years of work.
“It is a great success for us that our technology is now making the leap in space,” says Moritz Novak, co -founder of Gate Space. The start-up on Schwechat Airport has been working on its own drive technology for years. The coming year will have come: a satellite with a gate space engine will be launched for the first time on board a SpaceX rocket. “The requirements for precision and reliability in space are extremely high – we are all the more happier that our system is now being used in a real mission for the first time,” says Novak.
