Unusual head-on collision in Gschwandt (Upper Austria). An e-biker (60) was grabbed by a buck that came out of the bushes and fell heavily.
A 60-year-old from Vorchdorf was riding his e-bike from Flachberg in Gschwandt on his e-bike from Flachberg in Gschwandt through the valley towards the B120 on Wednesday, when suddenly a roebuck jumped out of the bushes on the road.

The cyclist was unable to avoid in time and collided head-on with the deer. As a result, he fell to the ground with great force and remained unconscious.
Companion called rescue
His 58-year-old companion, also from Vorchdorf, who was driving behind him, had to watch the accident and notify rescue services. The injured man received first aid at the scene of the accident and was then taken to hospital in Gmunden.
