Boy is stuck – gas station robbery: perpetrator is only 17 years old!

Date:

A robbery with a knife at a gas station in Fehring in Styria seems to have been cleared up in mid-June: a 17-year-old Burgenlander was investigated – thanks to two young, very attentive police officers in Feldbach! The young man is now in custody.

At the time of the robbery on June 13, there were only a 51-year-old employee and a guest at the already closed gas station. The perpetrator threatened the employee with a knife, but defended himself with drawn scissors. The robber eventually fled without taking anything. The 51-year-old received a shock.

Police officers from the Feldbach Inspectorate determined intensively. On the evening of July 8, two observant young officers met an unemployed youth who matched the description of the perpetrator in the street. The detectives of the National Criminal Investigation Service took over – and found the crime clothes, the striking turquoise-orange backpack he was carrying, and also the knife at the young Burgenlander’s address in the Jennersdorf district.

testimony denied
The 17-year-old has so far refused to testify on the advice of his lawyer. The Graz prosecutor’s office ordered the transfer to the Graz-Jakomini prison.
