The Carinthian police have now succeeded for the third time in clearing up the bomb threat in a school. Four students have now been identified who had allowed themselves a “joke” with the threats.
The series of bomb threats on the Carinthian schools does not stop. Students in Feldkirchen had to be evacuated on Thursday. “During the search by the police forces, no dangerous objects were found. The school building was released shortly after 12 noon,” the police said.
Then the interrogation of the students began and by noon a perpetrator had been found. “In the afternoon hours, a 14-year-old student confessed to writing the threat on the wall a few days ago,” it read. He will be reported after the investigation. A settlement of the deployment costs is currently being prepared.
Threats are not an innocent joke
Police spokeswoman Waltraud Dullnigg points out that such threats are not innocent jokes: “Such threats can have criminal consequences and the costs of policing can be recovered.” The costs must therefore be borne by those responsible
