Dryness, heat and the youngest storms have again led to a forest fire in Styria. The Gußwerk-Voluntige Brandbrigade (Bruck-Mürzzuschlag District) had to move.
The fire broke out on a steep slope on the right fire (1313 meters high) – probably because of a lightning strike in the course of the violent storms. The fire stove was near Hochschwab-Straße (B24) on the High. A large larch had set fire to the surrounding layer of humus.
