Unknown perpetrators were after a cat in the municipality of Liebenfels on Wednesday afternoon. They shot at the velvet leg with a sports arrow. The animal was punctured and is fighting for its life after emergency surgery.
The horrific incident happened in the middle of Zmuln on Wednesday. The cat was attacked by strangers with a sports arrow and was seriously injured.
The eight foot bullet pierced the animal’s body and lodged in the area of the lungs.

When the cat was discovered, it was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic in Klagenfurt, where the velvet paw underwent emergency surgery.
