“I would not have thought that the two would come so quickly – and then it was suddenly said via radio: birth in the ambulance! But everything went well – that’s the most important thing. Such a gamble is remembered for a long time,” says Albert Muigg, the emergency doctor who controlled the delivery together with the mother and the rescue team.
Emergency paramedics Markus Hanser, long member of the Red Cross Kaltenbach, is still moved by the experience: “These are the moments for which you give everything. We were concentrated, calm and worked like a team – and were rewarded with a double miracle.”
Jana and Malia are of course the biggest gift for parents Sarah and Benjamin. The twins have long recovered from their turbulent start of this world and are lovingly cared for in the Zillertal.

After birth, Father Benjamin was deeply impressed by the smooth running of an unusual situation: “I was overwhelmed – not only from birth, but above all how calmly and professionally worked the team.
