A drone that came from Wit -Russia crashed on Thursday in the EU and NATO country Lithuania. The government in Vilnius fears further such incidents.

The flight object was noticed around 11.30 am and crashed a few minutes after the border crossing, a report from the LRT state broadcasting station against Lithuanian border protection. No danger for the residents went out of the object and it was not equipped with explosives, Minister of Defense emphasized Dovilė Šakalienė.

The building had already been noted outside the state area and fighter aircraft had also risen. However, the action was canceled after the crash. Šakalienė was satisfied with the reaction of the security forces, but fears further these types of incidents in connection with the upcoming White-Russian-Russian military exercise “Sapad”.

At an altitude of 100 meters
According to border protection, the drone flew at an altitude of approximately 100 meters at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. According to an official, such drones are used by smugglers. The Gerbera drone is produced in Russia. Such drones are similar to the Iranian Shahed Combat drones on the outside.
