In the south of France, a man collided with one of the animals during a bull run and was deadly injured. This was announced by the mayor of the municipality of Générac, who also mentioned caution and compliance with the security rules.
“With deep sorrow I tell you that last night (Thursday evening, note) during the Bullfighting event, which took place as part of the Patronage Festival of our community, a person died,” wrote Mayor Frédéric Touuzellier on the Facebook page of the community. He expressed his participation to the members of the man.
The spectators must stay behind the intended protective gates and be careful. All motor vehicles on the route are prohibited. The accident occurred when the bulls of riders were driven through the streets to the Arena. The man, who was about 60 to 70 years old, crossed the street after several animals passed by. One of them turned around and rammed the man.
