A luxury yacht had set fire to the Nobelort Saint-Tropez-de Firefighters for a few hours. But the work for the emergency services is not over yet, now the tank of the ship must be pumped out.
As reported, the fire broke out in the port of Saint-Tropez in France on the 41-meter-long hunting sea Lame II. “Rauch was reported shortly after 8 p.m.,” said a spokesperson for the emergency services on the British “Mirror”. “The front hunt of the yacht went up in flames and the fire reached on the lower decks,” he said. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Two people were probably saved by the emergency services, as local media reported. The two people aged 24 and 35 suffered flue gas poisoning.

The firefighters had brought the fire under control around midnight. But the fight against the flames was not over yet: the boat threatened to take off – and that expanded the extinguishing work.

The Sea Lady II tanks were full of oil, so the emergency services had to build protective barriers. You must prevent the oil from spreading on the water. After the fire finally removed after a few hours, the work did not stop for the emergency services: now the emergency services have to pump 27,000 liters of fuel with which the yacht was filled.

The Sea Lady II was built in 1986 and only renovated last year. The yacht is located under the flag of Malta and can be chartered.
