A serious accident in the Tyroolean Unterland: an eleven-year-old e-scooter driver was hit by a car at Volders. At first the boy believed that he had survived the crash. He also indicated this to the driver of the car. It was only later that the child noticed that it had sustained the injuries. Now the police are looking for the car.
The accident took place early Monday afternoon, around 12.45 pm. Eleven -year -old crossed the Himmelreichweg with his electro scooter at the entrance to Billla Market and had a collision with a red car.
“The boy fell on the hood of the car. The previously unknown steering wheel stopped immediately and asked the eleven -in about his condition. He stated that he was doing well. Both continued their journey afterwards,” the police said.
Looking for an autosighter and witnesses
Only later did the man notice his injury, after which he went to medical treatment with his mother.
The driver of the red car and witnesses of the accident are asked to report to the Wattens Police on 059 133/7128.
