He apparently underestimated the tour completely and overrated himself, and he was on the road with bad shoes: a 25-year-old Spaniard did not get any further on a mountain tour in Tyrol and had an emergency call. Mountain rescuers had to bring the man back to the valley.
The operation had already taken place on Sunday evening, as the police only announced on Tuesday. The 25-year-old Spaniard no longer progressed in the area of the Innsbrucker Hütte in the municipal area of Gschnitz in the course of his walk.
25-year-old Nood call
“At an altitude of approximately 1800 meters, the walker had to stop his tour due to overestimation and poor footwear and the emergency call in the Tyrol Control Center,” says the researchers.
Mountainers brought the man into the valley
The Mountain Rescue Stone on the Brenner moved and got up to the Spaniard. Eventually the emergency services were able to bring the man into the valley unharmed.
