A 32-year-old fled to a snack stall in Vienna-Wieden on Monday evening to ask the owner (58) for help, after he had previously been attacked by three young people on Südtiroler Platz. One person allegedly threatened with a firearm.
Suddenly, according to the police, the three teenagers also appeared at the snack bar. The 58-year-old and the 32-year-old locked themselves in it and alerted the police. One of the unknown suspects is said to have hit the door of the sales stand with an iron bar.

Another suspect reportedly fired two shots into the air with a firearm. Shortly afterwards, the youth gang fled. When police arrived, the area was searched, but to no avail. However, two bullet casings from a blank pistol were attached at the crime scene.
The 32-year-old suffered minor injuries as he fled from the suspects in the direction of the snack bar. No one else was injured in the incident. The reason for the attack is unclear at this time.
