Self-employed associations and the Ministry of Social Security have reached agreement on the new Special Scheme for the Self-Employed. The agreed proposal lowers the minimum rate to 200 euros in 2025 for self-employed workers with an income below 670 euros per month.

The second tranche includes self-employed persons with a net salary of more than 670 euros and less than or equal to 900 euros. In this case, the compensation will be 260 euros in 2023, 250 euros in 2024 and 240 in 2025.
For self-employed persons with a monthly net income above 900 euros and less than 1,166.70, the rate will be 275 euros next year. In 2024 it will go to 267 euros and in 2025 to 260 euros.
The self-employed will be able to contribute during the three years of the agreement (2023, 2024 and 2025) for a base between whoever matches them and the maximum of the system, as well as the possibility to keep the current base next year even if it is higher. is then determined by their yields. The new quota bracket will come into effect in 2023 and employees will be able to change their tranche every two months based on their net income.
Similarly, ATA highlights the improvements made in terms of bonuses for working mothers, for the care of children under 12 years of age, for agricultural assisting relatives or for the care of minors affected by cancer or serious illness.
It also emphasizes that the agreement contains incentives for social security systems, and that the temporary disability contribution will not be compulsory in case of multiple activities or that the benefit for cessation of activity will be compatible with the activity and work for others.
