A motorist hit a Viennese park sheriff during an argument on Wednesday afternoon. The latter was injured, the former fled.
The driver illegally parked his car on Schickgasse in Donaustadt. He parked his car on a multi-purpose lane and did not drive away despite repeated requests.
Wounded in both knees
When the park sheriff was standing in front of the car to write an ad, the driver suddenly drove away and slammed into the control panel. The Weißkappler sustained injuries to both knees as a result of the impact.
Show despite escape
Police say the parking offender committed a hit-and-run. But of course, since his vehicle data had already been registered, he was quickly identified and displayed.
