Serious accident Monday evening in Thaur in Hall in Tirol. Startled by a wasp, a motorist (17) tore the vehicle and slammed into a tree. She and two passengers were injured in the crash.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. The 17-year-old drove her car from the Thaurer Alm car park in a southeasterly direction. When suddenly a wasp flew into the interior of the vehicle, the woman “torn up the car and went over the side of the road,” police said. The car then came to a stop against a tree.
Passengers also injured
Both the driver and her two 16-year-old passengers were injured in the accident. They were taken by ambulance to the hospital in Halle. There was serious damage to the vehicle.
