Police officers threatened – drunkard (41) swings an ax in Viennese bar

On Monday evening, a 41-year-old man entered a bar in Vienna-Donaustadt where he was actually banned. Police said the man was carrying an ax and making dangerous threats. The management was immediately alerted, but once on site the situation escalated. The 41-year-old was later arrested.

At around 10 p.m., the man entered the said restaurant in Vienna-Donaustadt with his axe, despite being denied access to the building. The situation escalated when officers arrived and discovered that the 41-year-old was already officially banned from carrying weapons. They took the ax from him.

After the man was then asked to leave the bar by the bartender, he threatened the officers that he wanted to kill her. The 41-year-old was subsequently arrested. In addition, the suspect was under the influence of alcohol: two per thousand were measured.
