New case for the Bureau for the Protection of the Constitution in Burgenland after the disturbing find by Stinatz: in front of the country house in Eisenstadt, a cardboard box full of suspicious jam jars led to the next police operation.
The investigation is still ongoing after a suspected message from the “Bajuwarian Liberation Army” on the display case of the parish church in Stinatz (Güssing district), but the following dubious message is already ringing alarm bells.
Search for a country house
Now the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution and Combating Terrorism is also dealing with a suspicious find made Thursday outside the Eisenstadt manor.
In a niche to the left of the main entrance, under the inscription for the resistance fighters of yesteryear, was placed a cardboard box full of plastic jars.
Electrical resistance
The first impression was “rather unspectacular,” it said. After further examination of the box, which also contained small electronic parts, the police were called. A note in one of the glasses read “Resistance” and there was an electrical resistance next to it.
There was also a note with the national anthem. It soon became clear that it was not an explosive trap. According to researchers, there is no connection whatsoever between the find and the “Causa Stinatz”. “Behind this case is a mental illness that triggered it.”
