During the corona pandemic, the conditions for travel to France have been lifted. From this week, proof of the corona vaccination protection, a negative test or the recovered status is no longer necessary.
In the popular holiday destination, a number of special rules to combat the corona virus were lifted around the turn of the month.
Rules can be re-entered quickly
Until now, travelers entering the country had to either be fully vaccinated or show a current negative corona test. For travelers from the EU and some other countries, proof of a recently recovered infection was also accepted. This is usually no longer necessary. However, if dangerous variants of the virus occur, the government can order travelers to submit a negative test before boarding a plane to France.
