A former employee of a restaurant in the center of Vienna let his anger run wild on Monday. Despite the ban, he entered the bar on Rotenturmstraße in the morning and became aggressive. The dispute with his ex-employer culminated in a police operation and a fist attack on the officials.
The 23-year-old entered the restaurant at 10:15 a.m. and soon a loud argument broke out between him and the branch management – the former employee was also banned from the restaurant. As he continued to rage, the police were called.
However, the suspect did not want to calm down, he became increasingly aggressive, suddenly clenched his fist and attacked one of the police officers. The alleged attacker behaved so violently that he could only be overpowered and arrested with pepper spray. Three officers suffered minor injuries but were able to continue their duties.
