A 30-year-old woman had to be taken to the Innsbruck clinic in Telfs (Innsbruck-Land district) on Sunday morning after jumping onto a canopy about three meters from the second floor. Her mother had previously accidentally locked the apartment door when she went to work and left no keys behind.
The fatal accident happened around 7:30 a.m. The Turkish woman was in an awkward position because her mother accidentally locked her in the apartment. The 30-year-old tried to jump out of the kitchen window of her parents’ apartment onto a canopy on the first floor. But the plan went wrong.
“No proof of guilt to third parties”
Finally, the Telfs volunteer fire brigade had to come out to rescue the wounded. “The woman was rescued from the awning with the help of a turntable,” police said. She was then taken to hospital with serious injuries. “As per the current status of the investigation, there is no evidence of third-party negligence,” the researchers said.
