It’s unbelievable what lies on our roads! On Tuesday evening, a Ukrainian driver of a small truck was pulled from traffic on the Tyrolean Fernpass, who had almost three per thousand. A driver had previously raised the alarm with the police.
Shortly after 6 p.m., the driver informed police that a small truck would be driving ahead of her on B179 Fernpassstraße. An alarmed patrol eventually ‘fished out of traffic’ the transporter with Polish number plates at a stopover.
Drunkard loses driver’s license
At the subsequent check of the Ukrainian driver (46) the officials should not have believed their own eyes. The alcohol test showed 2.92 per thousand!
The driver’s license was taken from the Ukrainian on the spot and of course he was not allowed to drive any further.
