The attack seemed to come out of nowhere: On the night of July 16, a 25-year-old man was beaten and kicked by two men in Vienna’s Schwedenplatz metro station. After investigation by the police, photos of the alleged perpetrators have now been published.
The brutal attack took place on July 16 in Vienna – Inner City. Two unknown men attacked a 25-year-old with punches and kicks – the man even knocked out two teeth during the attack. The victim no longer knows the reason for the escalation. It was drunk so I couldn’t remember exactly. However, he suspects that he was attacked for holding a bottle of alcohol. In addition, the two perpetrators would have asked him about drugs in advance.

Because the incident took place in the metro station, the police were able to review the video footage from the surveillance camera and thus secure images of the two alleged perpetrators. The Vienna police are investigating suspected serious physical injuries and are also hoping for new information from possible witnesses.
