On Thursday around 11.20 am, a passer-by reported a suspicious sighting on the Innbrug in the municipality of Weer. A man was seen with a hand truck and a loaded safe.
On the bike path north of the A12 in the municipality of Kolsass, after an extensive local search by several police patrols in the Inn, a broken safe and the hand truck were found.
Because it cannot be ruled out that it is an unidentified stolen safe, the Schwaz Police Inspectorate (tel: 059133/7250) is asking the public for information about the found objects and the suspect.
Description suspect: man, dressed in a blue hoodie, black shorts, black sneakers and black gloves. The man was standing near the Inn Bridge from Terfens in the direction of Weer (Schmalzerhof) around 11.20 am.
