A brutal thief got into mischief at a supermarket in Hall in Tyrol on Friday afternoon: the stranger stole the wallet of a 79-year-old local woman and then took out money with her debit card. Unfortunately, the perpetrator had it easy because the code was on a piece of paper.
The pensioner only noticed the theft at the cash register. An unknown person had previously stolen her wallet from the wallet that was in the shopping cart. Shortly after, the next unpleasant surprise followed.

“Immediately after the crime, the perpetrator made several cash withdrawals at a nearby ATM,” the police said. Unfortunately, the victim had made it very easy for the criminal, because the code of the debit card was on a piece of paper in the wallet.
The woman suffered damage worth several thousand euros.
