A motorcyclist has had a serious accident at a private training center in Piberbach in Upper Austria. The 39-year-old fell while attempting a backflip jump.
A 39-year-old local did freestyle jumps on a private property in Piberbach around 2:40 PM on Saturday. While attempting to land a backflip jump safely, the motorcyclist lost control of his machine.
Air transport to the hospital
He fell on landing and suffered serious injuries. After first aid from the Red Cross in Bad Hall, the 39-year-old was flown to the UKH-Linz with the Christophorus 10 rescue helicopter. The victim’s motorcycle sustained minor damage.
